Brazilian authorities this week discovered a crazy attempt to smuggle cellphones into a maximum security prison; the culprits used a lightweight hexacopter outfitted with a small rig to carry phones over the wall.
Mobile Phones were attached to the downed Hexagonal UAV in an attempt to fly them over the prison walls
The UAV was discovered with its contraband still attached. A highway employee saw it laying on the ground on the side of the highway. The employee notified the military police, who launched an investigation.
They have no idea who was in control of the remote control copter; they only know that the plot failed and it was left there.
Looks like there will be no contraband phones for those prisoners and they will have to remain cell-less in their cells!
