The microdrones are rotary winged VTOL Mini UAS with a maximum take-off mass of less than 25 kg and based on the Quadrocopter principle.
Equipped with high-resolution photo, video, thermography, or other sensor systems, microdrones simplify the job of aerial reconnaissance significantly for both, civilian and military operations. Fully automatic GPS waypoint navigation has facilitated aerial mapping, aerial surveillance, aerial inspection services, aerial scientific services or aerial search & rescue jobs worldwide since 2005.
The operating pilots enjoy the benefits of a wide range of security features such as position-hold, auto-homing, virtual cage, safety landing and the powerful flight data recorder.
